Open your monday.com board
First, log in to your monday.com account and open the board that you would like to modify.

Identify columns that need to be changed

Add a new column with the desired type
To change the column type, you'll need to add a new column with the desired type and then transfer the data from the old column to the new one. To add a new column, click the "+" button located to the right of the last column on your board.

Choose a column type

Rename the new column
Once you've added the new column, it's essential to give it a descriptive name. To rename the column, click the column header, and then click "Edit Column Name." Enter the new name and hit "Enter" on your keyboard to save the changes.

Delete the old column
Click the three-dot menu in the old column header and select "Delete Column." A warning message will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click "Yes, delete it" to remove the column.
